This unbleached coffee filter for my Chemex works perfectly, and I believe it is far healthier than the bleached filter.
As the title states, I've been using them for a year and I'm still happy. They're extra thick and made in such a way that the good stuff flows through into a fantastic cup of coffee with none of the nasty, bitter aftertaste. I love my Chemex coffee maker.no more bitter coffee. The filters is what makes the coffee maker so fantastic.
The weight of the paper is just right to hold the coffee and water and still let the water drain through the grounds. They do just exactly what they are supposed to do. These filters are for a Chemex coffee maker. I cannot buy them at my local grocery store, so I order them.
Very good service overall and competitively priced. The Chemex filters were promptly shipped, packaged well, and of course work perfectly with Chemex coffee makers.
The Chemex with these filters will bring all the beauty and/or ugliness of your beans and the roast straight into your nose and mouth.Do it right or go to your local coffee shop, 'cause you're an addict who can't make good coffee, so you should have someone else make it for you.Yeah. They also give you something to hold onto as you plop the dregs into the garbage or your compost bin.I'm a home roaster, too. Now, I'm not one of them purist who say you gotta do this or you gotta do that, but I recently got back into using my Chemex and durin' my hippy-coffee-snob days, this was my choice. The rounded, white Chemex filters work fine, but these are the better choice.
